To
create a desktop database :
- On the startup screen or the New page, click a template thumbnail (use the search box to locate a template that’s not displayed) or click Blank desktop database.
- In the File Name box, enter a name for the database.
- Click the folder icon to the right of the File Name box if you want to store the database in a location other than your Documents folder.
- Click Create. Access prepares the template and opens the new database.
- If the Message Bar appears with a security warning, click Enable Content.
