How to backup a database :
- Click the File tab, and then click Save As.
- In the Advanced list, click Back Up Database, and then click Save As.
- In the Save As dialog box, modify the file name that Access provides (or accept the default name), and then click Save.
How to restore a database object from a backup :
- Open the database in which to restore an object.
- Using the Navigation pane, rename or delete the current instance of the object. (If you are restoring a missing object, you can ignore this step.)
- On the External Datatab, click Access in the Import & Link group.
- In the Get External Data dialog box, click Import tables, queries, forms, reports, macros, and modules into the current database.
- Click Browse to locate the backup file you want to use, and then click OK
- In the Import Objects dialog box, select the object or objects you want to restore, and then click OK.
- In the Get External Data dialog box, click Close.
